Managing Director

Louise Norcott, BAppSci-AppChem

Louise is the managing director and founder of ScienTEST Analytical Services.

After completing a degree in Applied Chemistry she started her career in a contract testing laboratory where she was given the opportunity to learn a lot about, in particular, HPLC including troubleshooting, repairs & maintenance.

After 8 years she accepted a role overseas in training of HPLC use, maintenance and repair, with smaller training modules for dissolution, UV spectroscopy and Karl Fischer also part of her role.

After returning to Australia she did some contract work in the pharmaceutical industry prior to starting ScienTEST Analytical Services in 2005, and has now worked in the pharmaceutical / complementary medicine industry for 20 years.

Louise is responsible for the overall operation of ScienTEST Analytical Services and keeps up to date with all regulatory requirements. She is responsible for providing technical expertise to both clients and staff and regularly reviews the processes and procedures within the laboratory to ensure the integrity of the company.

Louise keeps a close working relationship with clients and is generally the first point of contact for new enquiries.


Quality Assurance Manager

Adrian Singh, BSc, P.G. Cert. HRM, MBA

Adrian is the Quality Assurance Manager for ScienTEST Analytical Services.  He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and Information Technology.

Adrian has more than 12 years of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry being primarily responsible for managing the Research and Development team in new product development of Pharmaceutical drug and Complementary range products. He has extensive experience in Manufacturing processes, Quality Systems, Laboratory Management and preparation of CTD for Dossier submission.

As the Quality Assurance Manager for ScienTEST, he is responsible for managing the Quality systems, maintaining TGA and APVMA licencing, liaising with clients, provide troubleshooting and technical support, general advice on product related issues as per client enquiries. With his experience in the industry coupled with a unique set of skills and excellent customer service makes him an invaluable member of the team.


Laboratory Manager

Dr Cary Lam, PhD

Cary is the Laboratory Manager for ScienTEST Analytical Services.  He holds a Doctorate Degree in Chemistry from the University of Auckland where he majored in Medicinal Chemistry and continued on to attain a PhD specialising in isolation and structural characterisation of new compounds from marine natural products.

Cary has more than 10 years combined experience working in a chemistry laboratory environment, making him a valuable asset in overseeing our daily operations of the laboratory.

As the Laboratory Manager, he is responsible for the scheduling of work and maintaining the high throughput testing requirements at ScienTEST.  With a strong background in research, he is a great asset in providing support in development and validation of new methodologies for complex samples from our clients.
